????I started the #yerrruptown hashtag 3/4 years ago as a way to separate my work from others being that I decided to document life above 96th st. My work has become a form of therapy, especially over the last couple years. Street photography documenting inspiration comes from many different areas, life experiences, my latino roots, conversations with friends, current events, somethings just catch my eye and I have to make that photo – document that moment. I’ve ran across streets mid sentence with friends, down blocks like a mad man to capture a moment that moves me, all they’ll hear is ( yo yo yo hold on) and I’ve disappeared to freeze time and capture that moment that will never happen again, If I’ve done this to you I’m sorry. One could say I’m ultimately inspired by life and everyday unscripted moments.
???? Community in my eyes is an extended family, a support system/safe space made up of a group of people that encourage and help each other.
