Annual Cultural Harlem event honoring Harlem’s Lindy Hop Dance Legends of the Savoy Ballroom and the Savoy Manor! Featuring Harvest Moon Ball Winners & Champs, as well as Honoring and Remembering the Mama Lu Parks Legacy
Join us and learn about Harlem’s fabulous Lindy Hop Culture and the Legendary folks who helped keep it alive! Their experiences and expertise will help you to keep this exciting dance art form and culture alive in Harlem where it began. The Harlem Swing Dance Society (THSDS) is the premiere Harlem organization (non profit) bringing the history and culture to you – with help of our friends – so you’ll recognize the importance of keeping it alive in the area. Event includes free dance lessons, Jazz and R&B music and more in the village of Harlem….
