Sugar Hill Kids Are Lit! Zion’s Crown by Zenda Walker

Discover the magic of “Zion’s Crown,” a heartwarming tale that celebrates the diversity of hair and culture. Join us for a fun-filled afternoon of storytelling, hands-on activities, and cultural exploration. Zion and his younger brother have an experience at school that makes them reject their cultural hairstyles. But when Dad takes them on a journey to understand the significance of each style, Zion and Zayn’s world will never be the same.

Activities include: An engaging story time with “Zion’s Crown”
Creative coloring and puzzle activities.
Hair styling demonstrations and practice on doll heads.
This program is perfect for children of all ages and backgrounds. Let’s celebrate our unique identities and embrace the beauty of diversity!
