If the Stars Align: Finale Concert with The Overlook String Quartet
For the finale of their inaugural uptown music festival “If the Stars Align,” The Overlook returns to Morris-Jumel Mansion with an electrifying program that surveys four centuries of string quartet music by Black composers from the 1700’s through to the present day, including Chevalier de Saint-Georges, Florence Price and Eleanor Alberga.

Event check-in will begin at 12:30 PM on the day of the concert, with the performance beginning at 1 PM. There are 30 patio seats available on a first come, first served basis, and 45 lawn seats where attendees are asked to bring their own blanket to sit on the grass.Anyone who has not reserved a seat in advance will be able to add their name to a waitlist during check in. Any unclaimed seats at 12:50 PM will be released to the public on a first come, first served basis and additional parties are invited to enjoy the music from other areas of the park once we have reached event capacity.
Health and Safety Guidelines: All concert-goers over the age of two are required to remain masked and socially distanced from one another during the performance, regardless of prior vaccination status, as per current NYC Parks and Morris-Jumel Mansion programming guidelines. Any attendees who may need to enter the Mansion to use restroom facilities will need to fill out a health screening form onsite and remain masked while in the building.
