Scandinavian Music Festival

The year 2025 marks the 20th anniversary of the Scandinavian Music Festival, a unique series of three concerts performed by musicians of the Scandia Symphony in Fort Tryon Park on the Cloister Lawn.

Concerts are scheduled as follows:
Friday June 6th at 5:00 PM: Scandia Brass Quintet
Sunday June 15th at 2:00 PM: Scandia String Orchestra
Friday June 20th at 6:00 PM: Scandia String Quartet

As an extension of the Scandinavian Music Festival, Our Children’s Educational Music Program will be held in Bennett Park on June 8th at 1:00 PM.

Admission is free. Please join us for  a cultural experience and display of live classical music amidst the  beautiful surroundings of Fort Tryon Park. Bring your blanket.
