Metamorphosis: An Evening of Musical Transformation

The Washington Heights Chamber Orchestra (WHCO) is excited to announce its return with “Metamorphosis: An Evening of Musical Transformation”. The performance will take place on Friday, May 5th at 7:30 PM at Our Saviour’s Atonement Lutheran Church, located at 178 Bennett Ave, New York, NY 10040. Spoken concert remarks will be in English and Spanish.

The evening’s program will showcase a diverse array of music, featuring Jessie Montgomery’s “Strum,” Samuel Coleridge Taylor’s “Nonet in F minor, Op. 2,” and Igor Stravinsky’s “Danses Concertantes.” This captivating concert will immerse the audience in a rich tapestry of musical styles, highlighting the transformative power of music and showcasing the exceptional talents of the orchestra members.
