Join us on the Manhattanville campus on October 21, 2023, for a free fun-filled celebration of community! Immerse yourself in the arts through Lenfest Kids film screenings and art workshops with the Wallach Art Gallery. Indulge in Uptown cuisine from flavorful food samples from local vendors. Explore the workings of the brain with the family during Saturday Science—plus so much more.

We invite our neighbors surrounding Columbia’s campuses in Morningside Heights, West Harlem, Harlem, and Washington Heights as well as Columbia affiliates to partake in this day of celebration.

Community Tables, Live Music, Moving Screenings, Kids Programming, & Light Refreshments

  • 1:00 – 2:30 p.m.: Bash the Trash – Instrument building workshop, performance, and parade 

Film Screenings in Auditorium

  • 1:00 p.m.: Hocus Pocus, 1993 Dir: Kenny Ortega  runtime: 1 hr. 36 min.
  • 3:00 p.m.: Taking Your Best Shot, Abstrak Vision Production runtime: 30 min. followed by Q&A with the filmmaker (register here)
