Leadlights Ensemble at Fort Tryon Park
Family-Friendly Pop-Up Concert at Fort Tryon Park (Billings Lawn) featuring the Washington Heights-based string ensemble Leadlights. This outdoor concert features world premieres of “miniatures” by New York City composers, commissioned by Leadlights for string quartet, including J. Mark Stambaugh, Evelyn Petcher, Tareq Abuissa, and R.E., an 8-year-old composer in Washington Heights, alongside classical favorites.
