In the Heights at Boricua College: the Magic of a Neighborhood

This exhibition celebrates the magic of our neighborhood and our community.  Displayed are a group of movie posters announcing Warner Bros.’s film In the Heights (songs by Lin-Manuel Miranda, screenplay by Quiara Alegría Hudes and directed by John M. Chu) and a body of archival photographs from the early years of Northern Manhattan Arts Alliance’s (NoMAA) annual Uptown Arts Stroll/Paseo de las artes. The fabric of the Heights is comprised of a rich history of arts and culture from the Latinx diaspora.  This is our magic.  This is our home.
