Closing & Artist Talk – Here & Now

Creative couple, Laurie Markiewicz and James Alicea invite you to experience their second exhibition at the 100 year old Grinnell, one of Northern Manhattan’s architectural gems located at 800 Riverside Drive and 157th St.  “Dynamic”, could best describe the culmination of this exhibition, 12 years since their initial residency.  Laurie, with photographs telling the story of community while others explore the complexities of color and the geometric shapes around us. While James, other wise known in graffiti circles as BlusterOne, takes you on a first class visual trip across abstracted letter structures mounted on tactile surfaces, also on display are several works on paper.

This must see exhibition opens on Saturday, May 31st, from 2pm – 6pm and it closes on Saturday, June 28th 6pm -9pm along with Artist Talk at 8pm.
