Harlem Fine Arts Show Returns for Its 17th Year Largest Art Exhibit Celebrating the African Diaspora

The Harlem Fine Arts Show (HFAS) proudly announces its 17th annual showcase, continuing its legacy as the largest and most prestigious fine arts exhibition dedicated to celebrating the African Diaspora. This highly anticipated event will take place at The Glasshouse, located at 660 12th Ave, New York, NY 10019 (Between 48th and 49th Street).

HFAS has long been a cornerstone of the global arts community, providing a platform for artists, collectors, and art enthusiasts to engage with some of the most influential and emerging Black artists from around the world.

This year’s exhibition, taking place during Black History Month, will feature a diverse selection of works across multiple mediums, including painting, sculpture, photography, and mixed media, highlighting the rich cultural narratives of the African Diaspora.

In partnership with the TOUCH Black Breast Cancer Alliance (TOUCH BBCA), HFAS17 will introduce a special initiative using art to raise awareness about Black breast cancer and prevention. A featured presentation will take place during the African Americans In Medicine (AAIM) event on Saturday, February 22nd, from 6 PM to 10 PM.

Event Highlights:
Artist Showcases: Featuring contemporary and master artists whose works reflect the vibrancy of African, Caribbean, and African-American heritage.

Exclusive Panels and Discussions: Engaging conversations with art industry leaders, collectors, and curators about the impact of Black artistry in the global marketplace.

Live Art Demonstrations and Performances: Experience the artistic process firsthand with live painting sessions and special cultural performances.

Collectors’ Preview and VIP Events: An exclusive first look at artwork before public viewing, offering a premium networking experience for collectors and art enthusiasts.

HFAS continues to champion the movement to #BUYBLACKART, encouraging investment in Black creatives and fostering economic empowerment within the artistic community.

“We are thrilled to celebrate 17 years of showcasing the brilliance and resilience of Black artists worldwide,” said the HFAS team. “Each year, we strive to elevate the conversation around the cultural and financial importance of investing in art from the African Diaspora.”

This year’s event is proudly sponsored by Lucid Motors, Pepsi, Gilead and more, underscoring the significance and prestige of HFAS in honoring Black artistry and culture.
