Concert: History of Tango
Quintet of the Americas, a woodwind quintet that champions music from Latin America, will be joined by world-renowned bandoneonist Daniel Binelli and tango master pianist Polly Ferman for a program of music that spans the history of tango from the habanera to Piazzolla and the modern tango.

The 8th Annual Latin American Cultural Week (LACW) in New York City is part of an on-going collaboration with PAMAR (Pan American Musical Art Research, Inc.) that will take place 14–25 November 2013, and features all artists who present works in music, dance, film, theater, literature, visual and performing arts from or influenced by the diverse cultures of Latin America.
