Annual George Washington Dinner
The dinner commemorates the July 1790 cabinet dinner attended by President George Washington and his wife Martha, Vice President John Adams and his wife Abigail, Thomas Jefferson, Eliza and Alexander Hamilton, and other prominent cabinet members.
The evening highlights Morris-Jumel’s upcoming ambitious project to restore the Mansion’s exterior, and features its ongoing reinterpretation program, while providing an opportunity to renew your commitment to the Museum and to reconnect with those who treasure and support this jewel of Washington Heights.
Page Ayers Cowley, chief architect for the restoration and a leading historic preservationist, will share the vision for the restored and more broadly accessible Mansion.
18th-century music will be provided by the The Harlem Chamber Players.
Tickets are $275 each; ticket sales end on July 5th. Reserve a table with 10 seats for $5,000, which will help support attendance for the Mansion’s community members. Vegetarian options available upon request.
